2020 Term 1 Week 3
Amidst backdrop of increasing CoVid-19 cases in Australia🇦🇺, our Scout group came prepared for this youth meeting!
Step 1 - check temperatures🌡 of youths, leaders and parents.
Step 2 - check in with full name, time and temperature reading. (Check them out end of session too, this helps in contact tracing)
Step 3 - Hand sanitising time.
Step 4 - PLAY TIME!!
Today was also special as we invited all parents 👫 in for a meeting to provide updates on recent Scout advice and answer any queries 🤷♂️.. as our Group Leader says it:"you send your child to our group, it is our responsibility to protect them!" It is with this wholesome view, our parents supported our initiatives! Go Scouting... Yeah!!👏
Now back to our youths, especially our Scout unit, they been busy practising their knots getting ready for Swantiki 2020! And of course, what better way to test your knot.. put someone on it.. and have a race...
