Joey Leap 2020

Every year Joey Leap is an event for the entire WA state's Joey Scouts to come together and just have FUN!

Due to Covid, it was nearly cancelled but thanks to all Western Australia who endured the lock down, we were able to return to a new normal. This meant Our most anticipated Joey Leap Event goes ahead!! YEAH!!

It is great to see our littlest Joey youth having fun and challenging themselves to new activities. Some of these activities are not something they experience in a school setting or day to day.. this is what makes Scouting special. Just look at how our little ones tread across a bridge made of ropes, practise archery , fire gas powered "potato" guns, volcano experiments... what a ball they had!!

This is only possible because of dedicated volunteers from various branches of Scouts WA and adventure/activity teams (e.g. Scouts WA Mobile Archery Range (MAR), Pioneering, Scitech, etc.) coming together to put on such an amazing event. This is also possible because of our dedicated Leaders and helpers, Elvina, Marvin and Auntie Grace.
